Our knowledge has strong roots. Labtium Oy carries on long-term and succesful business of the chemistry lab of Geological Survey of Finland. Our history includes analyzing the first stones from the moon as well as being in a leading part of geochemical mappings of Europe and north-eastern Russia.Personnel
Equipment
Our laboratories provide a wide spectrum of analysis services using leading-edge equipment. We supply our customers with end-to-end services in which we take on the responsibility for all chemical analysis and physical testing needs, even on the customer’s premises. The design of the equipment has focused particularly on large sample volumes, and pretreatment, for instance, has been automated to the highest degree possible. Each year, we analyse about 200,000 samples, from which close to 2 million assays are performed. Our laboratories operate in six locations, providing significant nationwide coverage.
