Labtium strengthens its range of services by acquiring forest and chemical laboratory

On January 1, 2012, Labtium Oy’s range of analyses and laboratory services was strengthened through the acquisition of VTT Expert Services forest and chemical laboratory services.

Labtium has traditionally been a strong partner in the geology, mining, energy and process industry and in environmental services. Today the company range of service offerings has diversified and been strengthened with the analyses and expert services aimed at the forest and chemical industry.

Centralizing Labitum’s analyses services into the same company brings customers multiple benefits by providing customers a more diverse portfolio of analyses and services. The range or services is clearer to its customers, and the  reliability of  services within the agreed time and delivery time of services improve as a result of the new analyses and services. Labitum’s resources for product and service development will be strengthened and as a diverse company it can share the best practices of different industries and business into customer service. 

While Labtium expands its range of services, the company continues to nurture and strengthen its core businesses and main services. The same well known customer service and other professionals in the forest and chemical industry continue working with you at Labtium Oy also in the future.  Also customers benefit from the services of VTT Expert Services and other VTT Group offerings through Labtium Oy as previously.

Effective January 1, 2012, the strengthened Labtium is capable of serving its customers with a more diverse range of laboratory analyses and services based on your needs. Labitum can provide customers e.g. case by case analyses and testing to customized expert and training services. Customers can also outsource all laboratory services from us either Labtium working on site at your premises or from our laboratories.

We support our customers in every phase of the production. We are your partner in production planning, running up the production and in day-to-day operations. Labtium provides customers also with problem solving in addition to regular laboratory analyses.

We want to make our cooperation with the customer as easy as possible by providing all the needed laboratory and expert services from the same provider by using the best industry practices and standards, cost effectively and efficiently.
